You may be a member of the Chapter without being a member of the national organization. Membership dues for AMS-SW are collected online through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amsmusicology.org\/store\/ListProducts.aspx?catid=821031\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">central office of the American Musicological Society<\/a>. As of 2024, the rate is $25 for income of $70,000 and up, $15 for income between $40,000 and $70,000, and $10 for income under $20,000. Membership lasts for the duration of each calendar year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In accordance with AMS bylaws, presenters at AMS-SW Chapter meetings are required to hold membership in both the AMS-SW Chapter and in AMS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AMS-SW membership is not required to attend chapter&nbsp;meetings and other events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you for your on-going support in our musicological meetings and endeavors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Membership in the AMS-Southwest Chapter is separate from membership with the national American Musicological Society.
