The American Musicological Society Southwest Chapter Conference Proceedings<\/em> is the online publication of selected papers and poster abstracts presented at our fall and spring meetings.  In the spirit of community, the AMS-SW Chapter seeks to make its research activity readily available, offering its presenters, members, and interested parties a forum for the exchange of new findings and musicological inquiry. In concert with the Chapter\u2019s mission, this open-access publication is a demonstration of our commitment to the advancement of research in the various fields of music as a branch of learning, scholarship and teaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
